Early Favorites for 2011 Mr. Football?

Pike is not the younger brother of Tony..He is the son of a special teams player for the Bills I think..and has got alot of hype over that..we will see how far that carries him..It takes more that size..sounds like you may be drinking the cool aid

JJ Jude rushed for over 3,200 yards this past season, and broke the record for yards in a game with 586 yards!! He is a really good contender for this award if he stays healthy and his line steps up for him. Also Anthony Wales is a really good back and could be deserving of the award. And of course Patrick Towles from Highlands has to be up there as well.

[quote=STATE CHAMP]Adam Wing-Rowan County QB. He one D1 offer already and about 20 D1 schools recruiting him (UK, U of L, Mizzou and Nebraska to name a few).
2010- He ran for 600yds and 15 TD's and threw for 1800yds and 14TD's. He could be a 20 rush and 20 Pass TD guy next year.[/QUOPike is not the younger brother of Tony..He is the son of a guy who played special teams for a good while with the Bills I think.I know some guys that tell me that has helped him with all the hype and his size is good..but it takes more.We will see how it works out..Its great to have this many good players in the state.

How can you make that statement? on what basis is that statement made.He is big with alot of hype..I was even told he put JV numbers up on rivals and that led to hype.I have never seen the kid play or even saw him but I know hype doesnt always pan out.He may be great but for the kids sake I hope they arnt setting him up for a letdown.

Not only does he have a couple of rings, but his team ducks nobody non-district.

Plus, Mr. Football is picked by THE MEDIA. Jude has no shot compared to Towles, Pike and Wales (likely to get the Courier-Journal's vote as well as the four TV stations in Louisville).

And no, I'm not from Louisville. I can be in Bowling Green faster than I can be at the KFC Yum! Center.

Judes only chance to win Mr. Football is to break the rushing record. Then he MIGHT have a chance.

Wales will be a high 3* or 4* prospect and playing in the big market in Louisville. He will also play some of the best teams in the state and more than likely will win another Title. Not to mention him more than likely playing at UofL
