this is a law put in place so that police can pull you over at any time... or for those states that it is a secondary law add more to your fine ....

So do you trust my driving DT? Usually I don't wear mine but DT has been getting onto me for it, so because of her yelling at me everytime we go somewhere to put it on I acually wear it all the time now.

When I drive I usually don't, when I'm a passenger I always do. I guess I trust my own driving alot more than other people.

I always wear my seatbelt when I drive. It's the first thing I do when I get in...now when I'm the passenger, that's a different story.

Good...you better wear one or I'll kick your butt! I've had enough accidents in the past 8 months to know I better wear one!

I think seatbelts should be oppitonal after your 18th birthday i mean ure suppos;y and adult u should be able to decide for your self... i wear the somtimes when i think about them...

I don't think they should be mandatory. Someone shouldn't be forced to protect theirselves. I mean if they really cared about the safety of people they would ban alcohol and cigarettes.
IMO the seatbelt law is used to create extra revenue.
However, my entire family wears them and they can help save your life. Law or no Law we choose to wear them.

I hit a telephone pole once. Without the seatbelt on I would have been ejected from the car and who knows what would of happened.
Back then I didnt wear seatbelts. Luckly my car had those auto seatbelt straps. I wasnt wearing the lower restraint.
