IMO , it will pass. Hard to pass up the opportunity for that kind of $$$. More games played, longer season, ect.. $$$ are the main factor in all of this IMO. And I really can't blame them.

Not to mention it also in a way helps in the private/public debate that the BOC turned down. With more classes, the private schools shouldn't be as dominant throughout all of the classes. But who knows, maybe it will become worse. Those private schools could just raise or lower enrollment to fit into whichever class they wanted if it meant that much to them.

Agreed. I think it makes the field more competitive than it is now. And it gives some of the traditionally non-competitive schools a chance at finally making it way up in the playoffs.
