Lewis County has quite a few that is full of talent and a couple of those have it on both sides of the ball. They've got Miller, Clark, Christy, Ruark, Thompson and a couple of others who can play with anyone.

Should be interesting this year.
#36
Christy is the only one I have seen that is full of talent as far as handling the ball. The rest are good role players though.

Belfry has an REALLY talented group of freshman coming in, tony messer, blake newsome, madison gormally, payton mullens, zack fransisco, and a whole lot more!

:please: Your reply Ashamed tells me a couple of things.............one, you must be a "sore parent" and two, you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about some of those awesome incoming freshmen football players, all the aboved mentioned are absolutely 'terrors' on a football field.

Maybe I'm wrong though, maybe you know all there is to know about the incoming freshmen, but just "too sore" to admit................:dontthink

Breathitt will have a nice group of Freshman coming in. A lot of heart in this group of young men.
#43
Grant has a great group of Freshman coming in this year. This group made it to the Middle School State semi-finals. They will have skill players such as Caudill, Haar, Robinson, Campbell and Davis.
#44

i agree christy has the speed and isn't afraid to make contact even though he tries to avoid it. other ball carriers headed straight to the sidelines, christy had decent hands also

I agree Christy is one of the finest running backs I have seen for awhile. I know he scored over 90% of LC touchdowns in the past 2 years. This kid is only going to get better and better .......... any chance of wooing him away form LC????? LOL

pureathlete Wrote:Bell County should have a solid freshman class coming in considering their 7th and 8th grade team finished 2nd in the middle school state football championships. Also, some of the players include guys like Osolonian, Elliot, Collett, etc.

Bell Co's 8th grade team was one of the best middle school teams i've seen in a while. They were big, strong, fast and they looked like a JV team. I'd say they probably will have 3-4 boys contribute as freshmen.

As for the 7th grade they didn't look to be on the same level, however there is a big transisition from 7th to 8th grade. But they never made it to the state tournament and they didn't even finish in the top 4 of their conference.:dontthink

Whitley will have a very good RB and QB coming in as freshmen. I'm not sure that they will be able to start, but nonetheless they should be able to contribute.

Bell Co. should have 3-4 incoming freshmen that should contribute and possibly impact ball games.

Corbin should have a couple freshmen that could contribute next year, but i dont think any that would make a big impact, because Corbin is bringing a lot of upperclassmen back at impact positions.
