His junior yr. we will see if he is going to be a leader like thought to be. He's currently wanting to play for Jr. Newsome, the best coach in Eastern ky. but has not made up his mind. As we all know Betsy Layne is a basketball school. Tyler is a true football player thought and Pike Central is a little of both more towards football though. I cant wait to see what Tyler can do next yr. on the field and on the court....
So you are talking about a kid that no one has ever heard of and hasn't even played highschool basketball being the best player in the state? A kid with the same name as your log in name? Lets be a little more realistic. :ChairHit:

You people are so unreal!!! Give this kid a break. He doesn't deserve all this BS. Have you folks totally forgotten about the Louisville, Lexington, Northern ky, and Western Ky areas??? Justice may get mentioned, but doesn't have a chance of winning MR. B. Give him a break folks.

Always a hater... Almost every post you have ever made is negative to some degree. Whether its about Knott Central, Michael Porter, Patterson, or Elisha Justice. Fact is the kid is a big time player and has been the best player on the floor in every game he has played this season. He may not win Mr. Basketball, but I think he has a great chance. He is certainly one of the top 3 players in the state for next season.

I think Justice very well could be Mr. Basketball 2010. He certainly has the potential but who knows what will happen next year.

He will have a hard time winning unless Valley makes a deep run in the state tournament this year and next. Ervin Stepp is the an exception but most 15th region MR. B's established theirselves at the state tournament...May, Pelphrey, Vanhoose. That is the disadvantage of being in the mountains. If he put up the same stats and showed the same leadership on a team in the Golden Triangle he would get a lot more credit on a state level. There is about 4 or five VERY good point gaurds in the state and Justice is one of them.

I'm sorry, but this makes no sense at all. Just because he is 5'11 doesn't mean that he will not have a chance at winning the Mr. Basketball award for '10.
His height isn't the only reason he won't make Mr. Basketball. There are other players alot better than him!!! Get out of the holler once in a while people!!

I have seen almost every top player in the state and he is on level with everyone of them.

That is a very good comment. If you look at it that way, Scott Co., GRC and Holmes all bring 3 of the best players each back next season. The only thing that could hurt each team in having the Mr. Basketball is becuase of the depth that each team has. I have seen all three of these teams play, so I can't make a comparison with Elisha, but I would give the nod at this point to Pittman being the Mr. Baskebtall award winner. He is likely to be the most coveted player in Kentucky basketball recruiting.

I just tell it like it is. I can't help it that you have your head stuck up this kids but. Oh and I guess you think Porter is great also?? Porter sucks but he's better than Justice. If you people could just finally realize this kid is a not D1 material and leave it be. He's seems like a good kid but be no where close to that level he would be a good NAIA or possible D2 point guard. Good luck Mr. Justice. It's a shame you have people like this trying to make you something you're not.

I think what some are saying is that; what are you accomplishing by saying something negative about Justice? You may not agree and think someone is better, so why don't you post your facts on who you think is better and just leave the negative comments out?

It would be impossible to have my head up a kids "but". It is spelled b-u-t-t. I guess I just didn't realize that you were the final say in evaluating talent. I thought that maybe because he has interest from big time D1 schools and tons of smaller schools that meant that he was D1 material. Seriously though, what was I thinking to agree with division one coaches about his talent. We should have just let you evaluate his skill long ago and it would have saved all of those schools from showing interest in him. Why was I so stupid to think that D1 coaches showing interest meant that he could possibly play at a D1 school. Thanks for clearing that up.
Why debate back and forth about it for an entire year? This thread will still be going this time next year and until the announcement is made, what's the point? Why not wait til next year when it will really matters and have this discussion then. Seems an odd time of year to be talking about this. What about Mr. Basketball this year? Anyone have a comment about that? Has this year's Mr. Basketball been announced?

You must either go to a rival school or went to a rival school because anyone who has seen this kid play and disagrees that he is D1 is a nut job hes better than porter now

I beleive that it has already been posted that there are a couple of D1 schools that are recruiting him. It did not sound like he is getting a look at by the Cards or Cats, which is a shame, but if he gets a D1 opportunity, I wish him well

Justice is my pick.
