Immature Parents
#61
Every player on thet field is giving it their all. Give them a little respect.

I am not only talking about middle-school high school too. This isn't only about booing its about anything disrespectful to the team, players, coaches, etc....

Bingo. We have a winner. And bad sportsmanship includes heckling the refs, the other team, certainly your team and the coaches of both teams. Cheer your team on but otherwise just shut up. I've had the "pleasure" to sit around people that yell at the refs for bad calls; 90% of the time the refs were right and the people screaming didn't know the rules (they watch too much NFL and think the rules are the same or for some reason they think their view of play is better when they are sitting 50 plus yards away than the ref right next to the play). I've had the "pleasure" of sitting around people screaming at their own coaches for play calling or for personnel on the field; as if they had been at every practice and saw which kids were practicing better or as if they had scouted the opponent and determined "what should work". Only one thought comes to mind when I hear these arm chair qbs and coaches: idiots. And if you don't think the students in the stands and the players on the field don't think to themselves: "hey, if the adults in the stands can do it, so can I", you're nuts.

In 2006 Russell traveled to Belfry for a playoff game. This was the first for me to go there. The hospitality was wonderful. I can't say anything bad about the Belfry fans, parents, players, coaches and even the system as a whole.

I was at the game and sat like 5 rows behind the man that threw it. Yes he was about 50yrs old and one of the most busch league things I've ever seen at a game and from an adult....but, the SC student section sat right infront of the P-burg crowd and would turn around and taunt them after a nice play or say stuff out of the way instead of being down in their own section. I'm not justifying this by any means, but I think the kids should've been in their own place.
