Paintsville maybe? Don’t think it’d be JC won’t be enough shots for him with Shepherd and Slone

I’ve known a lot of family like that but when it’s best for through future it’s best for their future.
As for the game, sometimes the Lord giveth and sometimes he taketh away.
As for dials leaving?? Why would dials leave??. Martin county will still be good next year and he will average however many points he wants. Where else will he have more of a green light than MC. Martin County still has pieces to be right in the mix next year. They have some good young players in high school and middle school and I’m sure they will add another piece or two before next year.
Martin County has played in the last 3 regional championship. That puts JJ 2-2 in regional finals in the last 5-6 years. They have had more success than anyone else in the region in that span and he’s done a great job. Kids want to play his style and it is very fun to watch and be apart of. He gives his players a lot of freedom to make plays. It’s always about the jimmies and joes. However we do need to value the ball, make good shots more of a priority and step up our defense.
With that said it looks like Martin County is more of a destination then ever and there is a lot of people that don’t like it. When the tables are turned and we are keeping our kids and adding more everyone wants to dog us and try to drag us down. MC has athletes in the building and they will be fine.

Martin County will be 3rd in district and if not for super region they wouldn’t have a chance to go deeper than that next year. You lose a LOT and I don’t think anyone will want to transfer into that district. Just my thoughts and opinions.

MC returns 2 top 10 players in the region next year, dials is a triple double threat every night Maynard is a 20-10 player next year. Eli Mills is One of the best 3 point shooters in the region. I think they will be just fine. Yes they have a couple holes to fill but the cupboard is not bear and the tug will provide. They have fielded one of the top teams in the region 6 straight years and I look for next year to remain the same. I know people want to push this narrative that it’s fire sell time and try to kill momentum the program has and some may even come from within and that’s fine but the truth is we lost one game every thing will be okay. Every program has issues going on with parent's right now it’s no secret. Look at Lawrence County they had parents beating the hell out of each other on the 50 yard line two weeks ago. Turned around won region after every one in their program thought the season was over when they got beat in 1st round of district vs Pburg. I think Martin Co will be just fine. Sorry that don’t fit everyone else narratives.

Totally not true about parents at LC fist fighting. Had 2 parents get into a heated argument but nothing more than that. Martin doesn’t recruit someone next year they will struggle. They would have struggled this year if Watts hadn’t got ran out of WV schools.

Dials to LC. Make it happen

With what LC has returning and no disrespect to Dials, I believe Lawrence is better off without him. They have good team chemistry and that is just going to improve.

I could see him landing at LC or Painstville that’s probably the most realistic.

Kj has stepped up to be one of the best PG's in the region. His athleticism is next to none. Thompson picked the right kid to get down and dirty with the best of them.
Lawrence is returning talent so they will be the team to beat come next year imo

He averaged 10 and 7 this year and as it stands now he will have a lot more opportunities next year than he ever has. He has never had the opportunity to get the volume needed to put up huge numbers because he has always played with so much talent around him and has accepted his role and worked hard and done a lot of the dirty work. Next year will be his turn to step up and be the main guy on the team and put up huge number and we saw flashes this year. He is one of the best athletes in the state and I think he will be one of the best basketball players in the region next year.
