That made me laugh to Jet! For some reason I thought of Chris Farley when you said, For the Love of God! I swear I've heard him say that somewhere before  Smile

As for Titus I might be able to offer a little help. I follow Paintsville some but have no connections to the team.

Every year before the start of football season, The Paintsville Herald runs a special in the sports section, highlighting area football teams.  There's usually a team picture of all local teams. Probably be able to get a good look at the teams numbers this way. This is usually sometime after the teams have their media days.

Hope this may help a little  Wink

It’s important whether people agree or disagree it shows if the new coaching staff is able to get kids out and depth what direction they are headed

I've heard Maynard hasn't been at MC's practices lately

IMO, both would fit better at Prestonsburg and help the Blackcats make a run at Kroger.

Who knows, though. Both are great football players.

I dont know how a Paintsville thread turns into Rumors of 2 Martin Co. Players but Maynard and Lafferty aren't coming to Paintsville. Lafferty left there and Maynard is a Senior Starting QB . There has been talk and I think staff is aware that this may be Lafferty's last year in MC not because anything is wrong because one of his parents is working in Western Ky and the whole family may relocate .

That was a good one, made me laugh  Smile

I know your joking but I believe if the two schools for some reason did combine, talk about a powerhouse in sports, especially football and wrestling  Wink

Not very long, they just had a bunch leave the team during the season under the previous head coach.

Hope they get more out. The one A world is better off with a competitive Paintsville

I wish Coach Melvin and his staff at Paintsville the best of luck this upcoming season.

Former Blackcat player and assistant coach, Derek Newsome, is on that staff and now teaches at Paintsville. He's a great man and he loves ball. I consider him a friend and will always root for his success.

Any predictions on the opener against Floyd Central? Good chance it gets WYMT game of the week based on the week 1 matchups. I watched them play my Bulldogs in 7v7 and i believe Coach Melvin will have those boys ready

for Paintsville to take that one . Melivn is a good coach with some good coaches behind him. The size and talent isnt there like has been in the past . Former administration running players off like Johnson and Lafferty was a huge loss for the program no matter how you look at it .I do wish them well this season but with teams like Pikeville and Hazard in 1A just dont see them hanging in there very long

I look for the jags to take this game. Start the season off right under new Head Coach Trevor Hoskins. Hoskins knows that Paintsville team really well. We shall see on how these scrimmages from both teams play out. Wish Paintsville to best of luck. I’ve kept up with the tigers forever.
I expect the score to be closer than what everyone is predicting.
