You can't contain the Panthers.

Maybe not, but that's why you play the game. Come 7:30 we will see. Does Pikeville play on the college field?

I've heard Nicks ankle is just tweaked but with nothing on the line with the Pikeville game game he could sit out. Timmy's been out for a few but jogging the track keeping him ready for district play. Would love to see them play but the following weeks are much more important.

Iagree, but it would be a big confidence boost going into the playoffs. they haven't beaten a really good team in about 7 years, since these kids were in pee wee.

College plays on the high school field, but yeah. The field next to PHS

This should be a good teat for both teams. Maynard is no stranger to Coah Mac and company. Pikeville is a little less balanced this season, but I dont think its because they cant be, they simply havet had to be. Estep has yet to be called upon to make the big play and Charles hasnt had a game that he has taken more than 10 or 12 lass attempts of Im not mistaken. This is a different Russell team as well. Still run based, but with a different look and faster tempo. It should be a good game for the first little while, maybe even into the 4th. But something happens to Pikeville at home. Its unlike any homefield advantage I have ever seen. Its not the officiating, its not the fans, and its made no difference how good or bad Pikeville is. Pikeville is hard to beat at home. Thats why I think they win by what would SEEM, to be a large margin but the game will be much closer than it appears. Not having Conley is another issue. But if Im Maynard and nothing is on the line in this game, I sit em.

I suspect Nick will sit, but Russell has two or three other capable backs that can step in and make some plays

With Conley I would have given Russell a chance, but without him I do believe Pikeville will be too much at home. I hope I am wrong.
