From Prestonsburg and west, Belfry doesn't even get mentioned in the states top 2A teams..
The only people that expect Belfry to go far, is Belfry fans, and area people..
According to other Ky High School Football forums, its Mercers to lose, then
if not them, its Westerns... Even have heard people say Middlesboro is expected to win it... No1 says Belfry...
Belfry has already lost the respect they had, and its not even been 2 years since they were on top... Which thats good tho, because it gives this years team something to prove...

So? That dosen't make Belfry a sleeper team, they have respect state wide and the teams that are the same calibure as Belfry and don't respect them usually find themselves on the wrong end of the score board

I believe woodford has a good chance to go pretty far....even tho they knocked off undefeated lafyette who beat them in the earilier season and now they play henry clay who also beat them in regular season and i think they will upset them to so my sleeper is woodford county.

For the State title they are IMO, but they can make it alittle further IMO.

It seem's that only the Russell fan's are talking about Russell winning it all. Everyone else is saying ethier Mercer or Western...Belfry and Russell are in the mix of it all though

I am sure that both Belfry and Russell would enjoy the role of sleeper. These two don't stand a chance. They are average teams at best. The rest of 2A doesn't need to worry about them. :igiveup:

Teams from the Louisville area and east of it always win state in every class, teams out west are usually hyped up and lose to teams from the east, though alot of teams out west have won it before, but I think more teams east have than teams west
