Just depends on how the tie-breaker goes for the Blackcats. I believe they will have the 3 seed at the end assuming they win out, but they will have to travel to either Belfry or Sheldon Clark. Belfry has had the Cats number since the 2002 season and they have already lost BIG there once this season. Sheldon Clark, sure they have beat them already this season...but it's tough to go to "The Rock" and win (i.e. Belfry getting beat).

Whats the chances of either Middlesboro or Belfry being considered a "sleeper"? They are both being overlooked in my mind. Most will tell you that Mercer, Western or Russell will win it all and not many have actually mentioned either team as serious contenders. IMO what ever team that comes out of region 4 AA will be serious contenders. This region is really loaded with good teams and whoever escapes it will be battle tested and hard to beat in the semis or state.

P-burg and Leslie would deff. be sleepers, and wouldn't suprise me if they turned out to be just that. They've both proved they can play hardnosed football when the time comes and this with other factors will decide if they make it further than 2nd round

It was a very physical game when Leslie and P-burg played they both have hard nosed Defense's.

Hm I thought about Prestonsburg being a sleeper team, but I think they have woken from their slumber these past few weeks
Middlesboro can't be a sleeper team, these guys have only lost one game this year, they're on a roll and they don't look like they're going to slow down anytime soon

I would still consider them a "sleeper" team. Just because they're 10-1 and ranked, I believe 3rd or 4th in the polls hasnt changed the perception most think of them. FYI, Im not a Middlesboro fan but how many people on here or state wide are even considering the Jackets championship worthy? Its probably a very low number. Somewhat of a weak schedule, not actually challenging for a region for the past few years and the stigma from being from Eastern Ky. are possible reasons for the overlooking of this team. IMO they are the perfect "sleeper" team. Great skill position players, great coaching and loads of experience are reasons that this team could be a force to be reckoned with throughout the playoffs.

This is true, but I just wouldn't consider a team with a great record to be a sleeper, now leslie on the other hand was 6-4 before their win over Breathitt, so they could be considered a sleeper team

From Prestonsburg and west, Belfry doesn't even get mentioned in the states top 2A teams..
The only people that expect Belfry to go far, is Belfry fans, and area people..
According to other Ky High School Football forums, its Mercers to lose, then
if not them, its Westerns... Even have heard people say Middlesboro is expected to win it... No1 says Belfry...
Belfry has already lost the respect they had, and its not even been 2 years since they were on top... Which thats good tho, because it gives this years team something to prove...
