As for candidates, Haddix is OBVIOUSLY the better one as he has a
proven record. Moore may make a great coach, or he may not.
Here's the kicker though. Would Haddix WANT the job? And is it
really a plum job anyway? From the outside looking in, the state
has taken over the school system, the school keeps shrinking in
enrollment, and the county keeps losing population, jobs and
money. Future does NOT look bright for BHS football regardless
of who takes the job.

He hasn't yet. If Holcomb leaves, I think he tries to get it. If he does then he will leave Pikeville. Why will posters not talk about him on here?
Would Breathitt faithful not be happy with Hilton?

Hilton left 30 years ago with hard feelings toward the system. Maybe that's over and done, and maybe not.
Also, Hilton's former players don't seem to revere him the way Holcomb's do. He's a hard person to like.

I think that Breathitt needs to come to their senses and hire Rick Stacy as their head coach. I admire a coach with a ponytail and i think that he would be the man for the job. If you have ever talked to this man you would know that his football IQ is off the charts and he would be the key for a breathitt state championship.

Is this the same RS that was the local barber for many years. He is a descent guy, but the Bobcats need a coach with experience.

Yes, it is the same Rick Stacy, but the poster above was just referencing him as a joke. Don't get me wrong Rick knows football, he has probably forgotten more football than I have ever known. But some of the younger crowd around here use him as the butt of jokes...kind of like chuck norris jokes. Hence the nine finger wonder they mentioned.
