Biggs, and Snyder, can say whatever they like. Fact is, they beat the best team in the tournament then got their a$$ handed to them by a bunch of freshmen. And they got it tonight AGAIN by Boone Co. Sounds like a bunch if excuses to me.

And two juniors.
Yep. Old BB and Snyder were making a preemptive strike of excuses because they thought the kitty cats would lose the next two.

Anyone saying he sickness would've affected the clay co game only wouldn't be low on stamina then playing a game make you more tired for the next one. Coach Biggs said 7 kids missed practice this week. Did it change the outcome idk. But you can't argue these kids need the break.

Lawrence won but I don't know the final score.

LC beat Raceland 60-56. Good job winning a good tournament! Not bad for such a young bunch.

The final was 60-56 and another freshman named MVP, Brandon Richardson. It was sad because the refs made it so clear they tried to give this one away, simply pathetic. Congrats to the young Dawgs, loaded with young talent.

I guess some people never get sick and when they do they are immediately back to 100% the next day.

From what I understand it was not a stomach virus. Ashland has a player with mono, one with viral meningitus, and 6 with the flu. Not sure who is effected with which but that's the rundown.

If they have that much illness, it might be time to let those kids get rest and recover. Hope they all recover and have a great season. They should be a contender in the 16th.
FBall, I know it isn't easy to recover, but it sure seemed like the main guns for the Tomcats were healthy. If Dixson and Miller can do that with the flu or mono or meningitis, then they would be scary good healthy.
I think some just react poorly on here when they feel someone is trying to take credit away from a young group of kids.
Like I said before, I thought Ashland would rout them and it didn't happen. This tournament title is something these boys can build on and they need that, especially since not long ago most of them were building only with Legos.

If they weren't even sure that Dixson was going to be able to play. I would say it was still with him.
Nobody was trying to take anything away from the Lawrence kids.
I'm not an Ashland Blazer fan by any means but there is no way you can tell me this hasn't had an adverse effect in their team. I threw Russell in there as an example because I know they have a bunch of kids that have been sick as well. I know they will be taking a few days off before the AIT.
Congratulations to Lawrence County on beating Rsceland and winning the tournament .
