Have any of you looked on YouTube for a highlight video of the new transfers at East Ridge, and if you all find any videos of either one I would like too see them, thanks

The Betsy Layne bobcats will be very tough to beat. They have speed and can really shoot outside and will be very strong inside with some returning players with experience and two new players with a lot of varsity playing time with both being starters on their respective teams. Both are good scorers and can really run the floor. I think they will have a legitimate shot at the 15th region title. It may take a while for the players to get accustomed to the system. By the end of the season they should be very good. Good luck to all the teams. It should be a very exciting season.:worthy::worthy:

I do not think Valley will steam roll this region at all over the next 3 or 4 years. Yes they will be very tough, but look at what Betsy Layne and Johnson Central both have as freshmen and softmores. I know referring to grade school is a bit out of character but the softmore class at Betsy Layne did make the KBA state final four and last year's Johnson Central team did make the KBA state championship, and that was the year after Shane Hall. Neither year did Virgie or Dorton go that far, and no disrespect because those were two really good teams. To be honest, I do not see any of Valley's players growing anymore but I can say the same thing about Betsy Layne's players. Lako Daniels is the only one I feel may have a few more inches left in him at Betsy Layne. Plus, Valley did lose, in my opinion at least, the best defensive player they had in this year's freshman class whenever Malenado transferred back to Betsy Layne where his brother graduated. I am not by any means saying Valley will not be tough over the next few years because they will be, but saying they will steam roll the region? That might be a little far fetched. The 15th is about to get very strong over the next few years and any team that comes out of it over the next few years is going to be a lot to handle. Those three are not the only three schools who will be strong, look at teams like East Ridge, Prestonsburg, Pike Central, Sheldon Clark and Belfry. They are going to be tough as well. So all I am saying is no one is going to steam roll this region over the next few years, instead I believe you will see the best all round basketball, from top to bottom, you have ever seen in this region over the next 3 or 4 years.
Agree, to disagree.. Steamrolling the region may have been too extreme of a term to use so I apologize for that. But I do think that outside of this season, Valley will have the best collection of talent in the region which warrants me to say that they should be on top of the 15th. Probably not the term steamroll as I used but they should be the favorite. Sorry about that man!

The betsy layne bobcats will be a major threat to win the region with 2 new very good experienced players to go with some very talented players already there. They will be fast and have some very good shooters inside and out. I think this will be a very competitive and exciting season. Good luck to all teams. Go Bobcats.

I agree Betsy Layne should have a decent team this year as they always do. They always have a quick team that can shoot the ball. They will be fun to watch and should deal out their fair share of upsets amongst the region. And Im using the word upset loosely here because this is a good ball team.

I also agree.........Betsy Layne should be a team that will cause a lot of problems in the 15th.

I'm putting my two cents in I gotta go with ERHS I watched warrior nite last nite and man they have a heck of a team all the way around not just the transfers they have a good bunch of kids alot of talent. But it won't be easy for them but if not this year look out next year when they have some time together.

Over the summer I watched Betsy Layne kill East Ridge by 30 they didnt look like that had much talent, but the transfers could change a team..
