Next Sunday Southwestern is having our annual Orange-Blue inter-squad game. This is a special occasion for us. The team is divided into fairly equal squads and the go at it full tilt, game clock, officials, ect. This is always great fun for all. The Boosters provide a fine after game meal for all. It is a Family Affair. I was wondering if any of you have a similiar game. Please detail, as I am always looking for ideas to make our program better. 8)

How do you all feel the Wildcats will fair under first year head coach Ben Howard
If any has any news on how there spring practice how been goin please feel free to post that to [flash width=100 height=100][/flash]

Who will do the best on JV next year at the Ridge? i think Travis Bartley and Austin Stiltner, Brad Branham, and Caleb Epling. Jordan Cantrell ought to be good, if he can work on his agility.

Now that Pikeville has hired their head coach what is the potential of this program in the upcoming years? Coach Jackson from what I have read seems to be a great coach on and off the field. Pikeville really exceeded my expectations with this hire, and I really believe they have found the coach that can bring back the program to being one of the true powerhouses in Eastern Kentucky and Class A football. Is the talent in place for Coach Jackson to work with that can have a shot at a state championship. I firmly believe he will build the program back up to have a realistic shot at a state championship, but every great coach needs sometalent to work with. I don't expect a state championship next season or the next but I believe we can be competitive on the state level once again in the playoffs. I believe Coach Jackson has two potential stars in the Honaker Twins, but what else does he have to work with in the upcoming classes? I am really excited about this hire and anxious to see what Coach Jackson will do with the Pikeville program. The hiring of Coach Jackson defintely takes away the sting of Coach Mac leaving IMO, and I think the program is better off with him at the helm. The boys need to listen to him and works their butts off in the wirghtroom and get ready to bust it once practice starts. With community and school support, which I firmly believe he will get, I believe great things are going to happen at Pikeville High School in the future.

Has Pikeville ever had a losing season?

What football camps are the best in Kentucky. Which ones would you recommend? Any you guys participating in any football camps this summer?

who is the best overall player in hte pikeville area?

Just got news of this from a very reliable source. The official announcement will be made in a press conference tomorrow at 2:00 pm at the school. Coach Jackson is originally from Corbin, and is leaving his position as Head Coach at 4A Oldham County High School near Louisville. This sounds like a great choice for the Panthers, great things will be expected in the future.

Pikeville High School should announce its new football coach tomorrow (thursday) in a press conference at 2:00.
All I know is that it is from outside the school.....and region.

Which team was the most disrespectful that you played? I know when we played Hurley at ER, they were given our Freshman lockerroom to change out in.... That was during our homecoming game. The following monday, we were in PE when Coach Davis came and got the freshman from PE to go and clean up the lockerroom. When we got in there, there were pizza boxes stacked up outside the door in the mudroom, pizza in the toilet, stopping up the toilet, they had urinated in our lockers, all over our stuff, in the shower, used the showers as the toilet, spit juice was covering our walls, and they had wrote profanity all over our walls with magic marker.
