Is Pulaski County the top team in 2025? This is becoming a very competitive district. How does everyone stack up in your opinions?
Class 6A State Champion Trinity.
1. Trinity (13-2)

9. Madison Central (7-5)
10. Barren County (10-3)
North Hardin, George Rogers Clark, Bryan Station, Barren County, Fern Creek, Central Hardin, Bullitt East
Way too early 2025 rankings. 2024 was a roller coaster ride in Class 6A with DuPont Manual coming out during the regular season and looking like the best team in 6A. St. X, Male is always a threat and how about Trinity, will anyone knock them off in 2025. How does Frederick Douglass look for this coming year. Can they get a 6A title in 2025? Who had heavy graduation and who is bringing back the team?

Here is last years list to look at, who has some insight and thoughts about next season early on. Just looking year end ranking I would have to say no doubt CAL is up there in the top couple teams if not #1. Does Lexington Catholic find its footing early this year and how much did all the other top teams lose like Central, Bell County? Does Union County lose alot and Hart County?
District 7- Bell County, Clay County, Knox Central, McCreary Central, Rockcastle County
https://khsaa.org/06-03-24-final-approve...-and-2026/
Looking ahead to this season, what are some of the predictions for this district. A favorite of mine because its an old school district of rivals back in the day.
Knox Central will be the team to keep an eye on in this district. Also, Clay County has a nice-looking group coming back. Rockcastle did a heck of a job after a heavy graduation 2 seasons ago and should be right in the thick of this one. Bell County needs no introduction as they are always the favorite. McCreary Central will look to make some noise.
#1
1. Bell County
2. Rockcastle County
3. Clay County
4. Knox Central
5. McCreary Central
#2
1. Rockcastle County

What is your predictions?
Now that we are in the new year let's get going. 4A will without a doubt be the most competitive class in the state again next year. Cov Cath returns a lot of production. Highlands reclasses after a semi-final appearance in 5A to give them a run in that district. Boyle County is on a revenge tour after their untimely exit from the playoffs in 2024. Franklin County returns every player that scored in the state finals but has some holes to fill on the defense that carried them through the playoffs. Corbin has a strong group coming back, but have to replace Mr. Everything QB Elam. Johnson Central and Ashland should still be strong in the far east of 4A. And let's not forget the defending 4A champ in Paducah Tilghman that return starting RB Wilson and young phenom Thompson. North Oldham looks to make some noise under third year HC Brock Roberts as he returns QB and big time target in Tompkins. The East is a gauntlet, there is no question about that with 6 teams that can theoretically make the big game at Kroger. Has the West closed that gap with the unlikely all west state final last year? Or was that a fluke and the East are still kings?

I made a miniature blocking sled for my 9 month old grandson. Class of '42.

Coach Sean Thompson of Paducah Tilghman has been named the 2024 Coach of the Year.
In his 4 years at the school he has directed his team to four deep playoff runs,
2 finals appearances, and the 2024 State Championship.
He has brought stability to a program, and was the right guy at the right time to lead these young men.
Congrats to him and the staff he has assembled around him!
