Ironton wins their first state championship in 35 years. Missouri commit Shaun Terry had 291 all purpose yards and 3 TDs.

Final. Congrats to the Purples of Bowling on their back-to-back 5A State Championships! They have won the last 2 after losing to Frederick Douglass in the 2022 5A Championship. Cooper falls in the finals for the 2nd straight season after another great year that just comes up 1 game short.

Final from Kroger Field. Trinity wins back to back 6A titles and their 29th title and since their loss to St. X in the 2009 title game they are 10-0 in title games and have now won 29 out of I believe 33 state finals appearances.

But Cal outmatched Union at every other position. 28-0 at half with a chance to make it a running clock before Johnson puts the county and every public school in the state on his back. Great game that you would’ve thought was over in a half but was exciting til the last play.
