Harlan County 41 Whitley County 27

Yogibear Wrote:1A is very, very different. Let's not forget that HC had 7 kids playing both ways also. The kid who ran for 285 yards is not only a RB but a DE and the punter and on the kick off and kick return teams. The injuries that HC had made them shift a lot of people around. The QB, RT, RTE, Pro, FB, other TB/slot all played both ways all night long. So to act like that is the only reason HC won is misleading at best.

I did not mean for my post to come across as saying this was the only reason HC won. HC flat out whipped Whitley. The numbers game is a problem everywhere for bigger schools in the mountains, not just 1 or 2.
Goodluck on the rest of the season.

Congrads to Harlan County on the win as they are getting there team together. Whitley has played a brutal schedule and are better than there record appears. I know they lost a lot but the type of offense they run all you really need is some tough runners and a decent enough Qb to keep the defense honest on passing downs or when the ball is passed.
