Furthermore, it is not statistically valid to mix the results from surveys of two separate samples the way that you attempted to do. It is a good thing accuracy is not your objective, because you never seem to achieve it.

No. The majority of Americans do not favor gay marriage. And I already said that I believe there is some movement to the left. I don't think liberals have the 'new blood' securely in hand though. These are the kind of folks that are faddish and fickle in their political views and therefore could very easily be talked back into a more conservative stance by a reasonably clear argument to the contrary. They are the fruit of the liberal media's propaganda campaign to recruit liberal pledges into the fold. A viable candidate could win them over again just as Romney did in the last election cycle. And, I know liberals can't quit singing "Happy Days are Here Again" but, consider this. The 5 million vote victory margin at the national level is hardly shouting ground for all those hoping to bury the GOP. Especially in light of the fact that voting reform is very likely after shenanigans like the ones spelled out in the following article, are now well known to the electorate.

In at least two counties in Ohio, the number of registered voters exceeded the number of eligible adults who are of voting age. In the real world I said basically 3-1. In the real world, of the 35 % independent voters, 14% were liberal, 34% conservative, and the remaining percent were somewhere in between. Are we parsing numbers now? In the real world, by the percentages we've talked about, there was as many or more conservatives than liberals in the first poll.
