The American public the most gullible of all time?
Hoot Gibson Wrote:I really don't think that RV's math skills allow him to understand these polls. What seems simple to us, seems to leave him dumbfounded. Confusednicker:
Democrat
33%
Republican
25%
Independent (Independents are more conservative than liberal, 18% vs 34%, basically 3-1)
35%

Hence, more "conservative leaning" were polled than liberals in this poll.

Thank you for proving my point! :biglmao:

Now, careful Hoot. Don't force him to have to bring out his A game. "Everybody on this site knows, if they would be honest, that I can "up my game", or "dumb it dow", depending on how big of an idiot I want to make you look."

3-1 of the independents polled are conservative. No, thanks for proving my point, that you are an idiot.

Anybody but Hoot and TRT can see that America is moving left, and a majority of Americans favor gay marriage, but I will stop and let them have their fun.

That's funny! Even after I pointed out your basic math mistake, you still cannot get the math right. :hilarious:

I warned you that you should get vector to check your math! Go sit in the corner, dunce!

Repeating a lie never makes it true, RV, but you seem to think otherwise. Apparently, your math teachers just patted you on the head and told you, "Great job!" regardless of whether your answer was right or wrong. Well, in the real world, a 3 to 1 margin would be 54% to 18%.

Furthermore, it is not statistically valid to mix the results from surveys of two separate samples the way that you attempted to do. It is a good thing accuracy is not your objective, because you never seem to achieve it.

Please let us know when you up your game, because I don't think TRT and I will recognize your A game when we see it.

No. The majority of Americans do not favor gay marriage. And I already said that I believe there is some movement to the left. I don't think liberals have the 'new blood' securely in hand though. These are the kind of folks that are faddish and fickle in their political views and therefore could very easily be talked back into a more conservative stance by a reasonably clear argument to the contrary. They are the fruit of the liberal media's propaganda campaign to recruit liberal pledges into the fold. A viable candidate could win them over again just as Romney did in the last election cycle. And, I know liberals can't quit singing "Happy Days are Here Again" but, consider this. The 5 million vote victory margin at the national level is hardly shouting ground for all those hoping to bury the GOP. Especially in light of the fact that voting reform is very likely after shenanigans like the ones spelled out in the following article, are now well known to the electorate.

"According to the Columbus Dispatch, one out of every five registered voters in Ohio is ineligible to vote. In at least two counties in Ohio, the number of registered voters exceeded the number of eligible adults who are of voting age. In northwestern Ohio's Wood County, there are 109 registered voters for every 100 people eligible to vote. An additional 31 of Ohio's 88 counties have voter registration rates over 90%, which most voting experts regard as suspicious." LINK --- http://townhall.com/columnists/rachelale...page/full/

In the real world I said basically 3-1. In the real world, of the 35 % independent voters, 14% were liberal, 34% conservative, and the remaining percent were somewhere in between. Are we parsing numbers now? In the real world, by the percentages we've talked about, there was as many or more conservatives than liberals in the first poll.

Actually, that is not what you said. You should stop now. The hole is just getting deeper. Your comprehension of math is not. Text can be parsed, but not math.

? You posted proof of exactly what I said that I said.

OIC: Change the 14% to 18%, my mistake. But, it still doesn't change the fact that as many, or more conservatives were polled. BTW, now everybody can see how you play your game. I even messed up to your advantage, number wise, and you still cry.
Whats wrong with the flamers having there little civil unions?
Thats the biggest problem with the liberal attention seekers.
No matter how much you give, they always want more.

What's wrong with them marrying? Does it hurt you in any way? Does it hurt your rights? What rights do you lose by them marrying?

This is why people don't take you seriously. You made a simple math mistake, to which I brought your attention. Instead of simply admitting your mistake, you have continued to deny your mistake. Math is something that you should avoid in the future. It only confuses you.

Did you see the edit? The first number, 18%, was the correct number. My mistake was in your favor.

Darn right it hurts. I hate the idea of my tax dollars funding their depraved sexual abominations. And I hate the idea my government is forcing me to do comply with something I know God has declared so sinful.

:lame: You cannot lie your way out of this one, RV. Your math was simply wrong. Posting 14% instead of 18% in a later post may or may not have been deliberate, but it was not a math error.

18% liberal(4:14pm)which I posted at the very first is the true number, 14% liberal(5:27 pm)was the mistake. My mistake in the later post was in your favor.
If we want to get exact on the net, it is 33% conservative/17% liberal.

First you don't get to decide when enough is said, I'll make that call. Second, as usual, you use flawed logic to justify the homosexual depravity you hope to validate. You tell me of any case where straight folks are awarded benefits for their illegitimate live-in du-jour, or in any way are federally subsidized for immoral activities? In any case we both know what this is all about. Your contempt for God, His Word and His Church. Yes?
