#31

The Bengals completed their draft selections by taking Ohio State running back Dan Herron in the sixth round with the 191st overall pick. • Joe Reedy's Bengals blog • Follow Joe Reedy on Twitter He is the 16th Ohio State player to be drafted by the Bengals but the first since 1994. That year they took Dan Wilkinson with the top overall pick and Jeff Cothram in the third round. Herron played in seven games as a senior after serving a five-game suspension. He rushed for 675 yards and three touchdowns on 134 carries (5.04 ypc). He would end his Buckeyes career as the school’s tenth-leading rusher, with 2,869 yards and 32 touchdowns on 592 carries. He added 309 yards and another score on 44 receptions. He is a Warren, Ohio, native. With their 10 picks, the Bengals split it evenly with five on offense (two wide receivers, running back, offensive guard and tight end) and five on defense (two cornerbacks, two defensive tackles and a safety)
