Which Is Better: The World Series Or The Superbowl
#31
The Stanley Cup....if you don't consider that an answer.....

....Superbowl
#32
Superbowl...
#33
Super bowl.
#34
I would have to go with the Superbowl, like someone said earlier it's one game instead of the best 4 out 7 spread out over a week. I always liked playing baseball or softball, but have a hard time sitting on the couch watching.
#35
This is too easy, SUPERBOWL
#36
I love football and baseball but i would rather watch March Madness Ncaa tourney any day over the two but i would deff say Super Bowl unless the reds were playin lol
#37
I'll have to take the Superbowl myself. Don't have the patience to watch up to 7 games of baseball anymore.

superbowl

Very true PB5. And I would have to take Superbowl as well.

World Series until the steroid scandal!!!!!!

I'd have to say the World Series. The Super Bowl now is mainly about advertisements, the favorite team always wins and u have to wait one 2 weeks to watch the game. In the World Series you play the best of 7 series so u can technically afford to have a bad game as compared to the Super Bowl you can't. The World Series is split between 2 cities instead of always in a warm weather climate like Miami or Tampa Bay, if its cold in Boston and they make it to the World Series then those players play in cold weather, theres no nuetral field.

Super Bowl, you lose and you are done. World Series you have several chances to win it all.

BFritz Wrote:Super Bowl because:
A. It's one game, World Series is a 7 game series, you can say "Oh who cares about game one," and skip the whole game, football each play can be a difference maker
B. In baseball, you can go 9 innings with nothing happening, and say one homerun, football is a continuous battle to move down the field and stop the other team from moving down the field
C. In football, although every player might not touch the ball, every player is included in the play somehow
D. CONTACT

Lots more reasons, but there's a few

That was a beautiful post Fritz.Wink
You just brought tears to my eyes.

I think the biggest reason, is that last one you have. CONTACT.
Makes it worthwhile.

Of all the Super Bowls only 12 have been decided by 7 points or less, that is 30%, and the rest haven't been close. The only thing good about Them are the Parties and SOME commercials. The games just really aren't that good. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE the NFL and Fantasy Football is my favorite. But, the Super Bowls have been very disappointing. That's why I say the World Series.
