I called this one.
Outside of Bell fans i was one of the very few posters who knew Bell would once again reign king for another year.
I have the up most respect for both of these programs, but Bell is just on a different level than anybody period, and have been for several years.
I wish more than anything to see Bell take home another state crown.
As a Whitley fan im on the very few who root for Bell, especially on here on a weekly basis, but im one of the hundreds of Whitley fans that RESPECT Bell.

I heard someone else say that Bell hasnt lost to a mountain team since 2006. Thats incredible, however what more incredible is that they have only lost to 4 mountain teams since 2000. Whitley once, Corbin once, Prestonsburg once, and Rock 5 or 6 times.

Congrats Bell on another spectacular season and still being kings of the mountains.
now, go represent us in Bowling Green.

A pair of long TD runs in the fourth quarter helped Bell County (9-1) rally for the win at home and hand Harlan County (9-1) its first loss of the season.
Jonathon Polly's second TD of the game, an 84-yarder, put Bell County ahead 18-14 and Corey Osolonian followed it up with a 75-yard score.

Harlan has a very good football team and very business like approach, but the difference in the two programs is that Bell has been there for a long time and know that after you lose give your opponent credit and take the loss with class. Harlan coaching staff needs to learn that lesson and give the other coaching staff a nice word. I wasnt at this game ,but i remember watching them last year after they loss to Bell and Ft.Thomas that there coaches didnt say one word to the opponent coaches.

Great effort by HC. But to talk about the Bell player talking to the fan in the endzone is ridiculous. The fat HC fan in the Carhart coat is a low life for screaming the stuff he did at a HS kid from the beginning he was targeting 1 kid and I will leave that to the imagination why he was screaming at 1 kid!!!! He clearly shows he is a useless POS! This is not he 50's you can't say stuff like that esp to 17 year old kids. He is lucky he did not get fed a football!!!!!!!

Again I have lots of friends and family in Harlan Co. and most are wonderful people. They have some very passionate fans but this guy is embarrassing to anyone!

You're right....I heard him. I stopped him for a while but left and he got started back again. My apologies. No excuse for the kind of language he handled. The cops were right there a couple of times and heard him. I'm surprised he wasn't escorted out of the game. He should've been.

T could have been better! But seriously it was a good game until late in the 4th. The Black Bears lacked the big play tonight, one long scoring run could have helped a lot.

This is one reason I brought up about playing this game earlier in the season. Football spirits are a little low now and we need to refocus for the playoffs. Again I have arguments for playing at either time, but after today or tomorrow we just have to shake it off congratulate Bell and be ready to show up and support our Black Bears against pulaski.

Bell Co. is a great program and Harlan Co. is headed that way as well.. We all have fans that are embarrassing to our schools and fans.
