Tomcat Pride Wrote:Serious question..... Who's had the best passing attack on JC's schedule this year?

Lexington Catholic by far. They make the passing attack of Ashland look JFL ish. No comparison.

This game will make for a VERY long night for The Tomcats! Running clock will help speed it up a bit for them though so that's a plus!
#34
Hopefully the Tomcats can keep the momentum going. Good luck Cats!!

Cabell-Midland, WV.
Royal Imperial Collegiate of Canada
Capital, WV.
Lexington Catholic
South Charleston, WV.

All of these teams have good passing games. Ashland may have a good passing game, but I really don't see them having a better passing game than any of the teams listed above.

My Facebook DM box has already been blowing up with people coming to this game...

We might see a Big Blue Madness camp out sized crowd for this game.

The winner of the Harrison County vs. Bourbon County game will decide the 1 seed in District 7.

Mason County will be the 3 seed in District 7.

The winner of Cov. Holmes vs. Cov. Scott will be the 4 seed in District 7.

The winner of the JC vs. AB game will be the 1 seed in District 8.

Greenup County will be the 3 seed.

Rowan County does hold the tiebreaker over Boyd County and they play East Carter this week.
But if Boyd County beats Greenup County, BC will be the 4 seed.

East Carter missed the playoffs.

You are correct.

The 17 points against Rowan County was all against the JV/Frosh.
The 7 points against East Carter was against the JV/Frosh.
The 8 points against Greenup County was against the Frosh.
Boyd County didn't get a 1st down the entire game vs. the Varsity, JV or Frosh.

Also the JV and Frosh have scored on every team they've played. Johnson Central is as good and as deep as I've seen a team in a long time.

We all have down years Bub! I'm sure Ashland will bounce back in a year or 2! You know, back to where they can beat 1A minor league teams at least! :lmao:

I think I might have a very good view of Friday nights action.

Obviously, JC should be favored in this one. However, the weather can always play neutralizer in games like these. A couple of turnovers here or there and it wouldn't shock me to see Ashland win this one. If there are zero clouds in the sky, then I will have to agree on JC winning by at least three scores.

Of all the people in the world... I would think you would have the best view. Probably better than the players.

After the mercy clock starts running you can't compare scores. When did they get a runnig clock in those games would be a better comparison.

I'm looking forward to home games for the next several weeks. Hopefully, Ashland, Belfry, 4 playoff games and then a road trip to Bowling Green.

"The Road to BG runs through Johnsonville..."
"JC has Paved the way to BG...."
"JC is gonna Dump Truck the competition...."
"JC keeps the Road to BG maintained as well as any County in the State...."
