I do have a legit question about the 6 class system. why does Class A and 6A only have 32 teams? there are 222 high school football teams in the khsaa, that can be split up evenly to 37 teams in each class. not trying to make an argument, really just want to know

Because you have schools such as Highlands, who play up from their class some years & play in their classified class in others.
