All of this **** talking on this discussion and on other threads that I have read has me wanting push out my opinion to this point after I have ask around the county to a couple friends and the information that I have gathered online. Opinion based outlook on the upcoming season that has people thinking McCreary Central now all stars after I cupcake schedule. I am all for McCreary I played 4 years including on the 2009 team as well so I am all for success at McCreary Central
So my Breakdown:
I watched mccreary play last year in a few games that I got a chance to attend I found that they were lacking on dicpline as they had poor conduct in the lockerroom , on the field ,and worrying about personal things along the track as well. Trust me I watched from on top of the box on the sideline and in the lockerroom as I know quite a few people there. Defense is the weak point I seen good plays but a lot of missed chances as well if you have a decent back and hold on to the ball you will score on mccreary as many as you want too. the Hamilton kid a reciver made a real difference last year he could make big plays and was depended on by the QB and this kid had 11 touchdowns reminded he made plays out of nothing good reciver and I feel his presence will be missed.
Strong suit on mccreary troxell and the crew have played together since freshman I have seen them grow and this team isn't a pushover like the past while troxell can make plays but will not be able to rush for a crazy amount aginist the teams they play this year and I seen them pump his numbers up on fort knox because they were already way ahead in the game trying to break a record trust me stood next them and watched and listened. they wil have to depend on others to make offense plays and share the load as well as the D will have to make some stops.
schedule Breakdown:
1. Perry Central: perry is a 5A team that is not that good in the class still they had bright spots last season ,but barley beat lynn camp returning runningback jayden neace who had 1600 yards last season and returning their quarterback they will be no push over and please do not say mccreary will beat them by three scores if mccreary had a good offseason and filled the void with Hamilton I see mccreary winning in the fourth quarter by a score
2. Lynn camp again the past two years we have played catch up football and losing it at the last minute which really sucks always a battle with lynn camp and mccreary I rember a brawl at a scrimmage in 2008, but back on track. They return Dalton cook who had almost 1500 yards last year this will be a tough one but they lose their QB I see mccreary winning this one as payback for the past two years by two touchdowns I think mccreary is ready for this one.
3.clinton county has a dual threat quarterback who will be tough to stop they put up 40 points last year on mccreary and it became a scoring match I'm going to take mccreary by 3 touchdowns on them as mccreary has more weapons and better offseason program.
4. Fort Knox I have watched them the past few years and military schools have changes all of the time so everything doesn't look all together they are bad for turnovers and very bad on dicpline the only issue I see for mccreary is slowing down kaylon luster #25 he had 1100 yards last year and he was the only real source of offense not a bad player either I feel that he will get a couple scores I think mccreary by 4 scores in this one as well for a 4-0 start.
5. south laurel a very weak 5A team who played a 5-6 schedule last year and played very tough down the stretch so I am not sure what kind of team this will be this year seeing they lost a few key players who helped with such success. I think mccreary squeaks it out if the get some turnovers and keep pushing to score at home
6.Bell County at home is always a tough one I would say these two teams last year would be a very close game. Factor is Dudley Hilton he will have bell county playing some tough hardnosed football he will play slow pound the ball offense and will take its toll on mccreary as he do the same as Harlan did last year and bell will win in a two score fashion
7. corbin is going to be a new beast to mccreary they have not played anyone at this level in a very long time and corbin is going to handle them by as many as they want period hard nose championship caliber team.
8. casey county at home should be a very interesting game casey county has a good coach as well but will be losing a lot from this past year in their leading rusher/ receiver and quarterback and still return some starters as well I have not seen casey play in a while but expect a few steps back. I will take mccreary in a close one over casey this will be at home and I don't feel casey will be as explosive on offense I will take mccreary by a touchdown.
9. Jackson losing there leading rusher who had 1900 yards last year is a big dent into an already weak program with him mccreary would win big mccreary will win real big without him mccreary by as many as they want
10. Harlan they are returning Kendal brock leading rusher and scorer with 22 touchdowns on the ground last year but lost their coach who was very experienced and made a huge difference due to his experience I will take mccreary by a score again
so this leaves an 8-2 at best chance for mccreary and 2-2 in district play with the #3 seed playing an opposing #2 from district 7 I will take mccreary winning one playoff game and then getting hammered in the second round this is if mccreary plays to best scenario and if not it could easily be 3-8 losing first round by a lot. best chance 9-3 worst 3-8. real world expecations 6-5 losing first round

I agree with most of what you said, but if South Laurel is anything like last year I don't think The Raiders can keep up. I thought they weren't playing Corbin? Bell County will beat them by more than two scores.

They do play Corbin it's in their district play. South laurel lost a lot but I don't know a whole lot about them and I am just hoping in mccreary favor at home that south laurel is back down lol. Bell I know Hilton is back but I'm not sure how much better they could get that quickly so it. Could be worse but I'll stick with two scores

I went to Somerset to watch McCreary 7 on 7. It was a joke. Somerset had 4 seniors there no starting qb, cornett kid injured so it was McCreary versus pretty much the JV and McCreary got drilled. If you guys are depending on one RB and one lineman because thats all I've read about the raiders are in trouble. Oh and numbers you guys are reporting is way off. Unless you got 30 lineman, saying 50 is insane. Somerset isn't very good this year, and they couldn't run with they're JV. One coach told me they scrimmage Somerset and Garrad Co. in August. On that note the Coaches need to teach theyre players to leave there helmets on when they decide to start a fight, and yes they lost the fight to freshman too. Kid hadn't caught a pass all day talks trash charges Somerset player with no helmet not smart. My point is quit blowing up a team with no air. Pretty interesting info but the fighting isn't that surprising due to all the lack of dicpline . I think mccreary squeaks it out if the get some turnovers and keep pushing to score at home
6.Bell County at home is always a tough one I would say these two teams last year would be a very close game. Factor is Dudley Hilton he will have bell county playing some tough hardnosed football he will play slow pound the ball offense and will take its toll on mccreary as he do the same as Harlan did last year and bell will win in a two score fashion
7. corbin is going to be a new beast to mccreary they have not played anyone at this level in a very long time and corbin is going to handle them by as many as they want period hard nose championship caliber team.
8. casey county at home should be a very interesting game casey county has a good coach as well but will be losing a lot from this past year in their leading rusher/ receiver and quarterback and still return some starters as well I have not seen casey play in a while but expect a few steps back. I will take mccreary in a close one over casey this will be at home and I don't feel casey will be as explosive on offense I will take mccreary by a touchdown.
9. Jackson losing there leading rusher who had 1900 yards last year is a big dent into an already weak program with him mccreary would win big mccreary will win real big without him mccreary by as many as they want
10. Harlan they are returning Kendal brock leading rusher and scorer with 22 touchdowns on the ground last year but lost their coach who was very experienced and made a huge difference due to his experience I will take mccreary by a score again
so this leaves an 8-2 at best chance for mccreary and 2-2 in district play with the #3 seed playing an opposing #2 from district 7 I will take mccreary winning one playoff game and then getting hammered in the second round this is if mccreary plays to best scenario and if not it could easily be 3-8 losing first round by a lot. best chance 9-3 worst 3-8. real world expecations 6-5 losing first round
