So does this make you happy? Is the kid going to learn that there are consequences for transferring or leaving a program which is way more important than anything the kid has going on in his life. :please:

If it isn't about the kids and them being happy then just what in the heck do we have HIGH SCHOOL sports for anyway?

Sounds like you guys have some serious issues with your kids up there, and it kinda looks like the issues have more to do with the adults than the kids!

I guess the school will learn to stop playing players ruled ineligible.
Kids aren't dumb, they know rules and consequences.

Are all the games he played in going to be forfeited?

Actually a lot of uptight adults up here. Fun for the kids is not a top priority here. Instead of making the news for a prank gone wrong, we make the news for the preemptive strike on fun. Lol

Rules and consequences? The kid wanted to play friggin football at another school!! You do realize coaches that most people outside of your profession think kids should be able to go where they want as long as they’re happy, but most of you do too as long as it’s to play for you!! So what does Coach French get now that the kid is ineligible, does it make someone feel all fuzzy inside knowing they screwed over a kid.

No idea, take your concerns for the kid to khsaa if you want, its their rules.

Yep. It is there rules and as horrible as the NCAA is to college athletics the KHSAA is to high school athletics in Kentucky. They no doubt pick and choose the ones to hammer and the ones to turn blind eyes on. Also most people let the well being of the child overrule their distaste for the other school. However, a lot of schools get butt hurt and instead take it out on the kid when in reality it's the school their after. Doesn't matter how you doin it. It's a crock of 💩. The go to is to point to the KHSAA, but it starts from someone else's pettiness. It's as simple as that.

It would be nice to start another thread about this stuff and off this one. SHS 12 Rock 6. End of story. We lost against the team we played, and as long as their players aren't 20 or over it really matters not . Let the Warriors and Bunnies debate this along with the lawyers and KHSAA. Rock out! We have moved on to district play. Good luck with the rest of the season.

It would be nice to not debate this on a thread that should already be done with, let alone shouldn't be debated at all. However, they wont start a thread to do so because they know their pettiness has already been shown. However, I am sorry I did not let it end with yours Oldschool77. This was a petty move on my part. Best of luck the rest of the season.
