Hate to say this, but the game wasn't even this close.....Valley was up by like 40 at one point before they took out the starters sometime in the 3rd I believe. But I have to say that Pikeville NEVER gave up :thumb: I thought that teams in the past made a lot of 3s, but these girls can flat out shoot the 3 ball :thumb: and have Maynard down low working her ass off!!

And talk about a young team, they have one senior (who didn't play tonight) and at one point they had 3 8th graders and 2 Freshman on the floor!!! :eek: WOW! And I'm willing to bet that they only have 2-3 Juniors on this team...give them 2 years and watch out :Thumbs:

No Juniors on the team..Future could be very bright for the young panthers..Maynard is one of my favorite players to watch in the region..She doesn't score a lot offensively but she flat out hustles..I enjoy watching this group of girls play.

valley played a great game......was a good practice game for them..had alot of young players who was able to show there talent as well

SV played really well and had complete control of this one they played tremendous defense in this one. It would have been a considerably closer game if PHS had Martel but last night SV was on.
