It was a good game. Allen Central cut the lead to three but just really couldn't handle Johnson Central on the boards. It was very poorly officiated on both ends.
At half time the score was :: Allen Central 19, Johnson Central 28
Allen Central had 14 turnovers in the 1st half!
Stats for AC :: (Don't have point totals, forgot to get those haha)
Cline : 6 rbs, 4 assists, 1 steal, 4 to's, 2 deflections
M. Billiter : 5 rbs, 2 assists, 1 to, 1 deflection
Mills : 4 rbs, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 to - 5 threes
Thacker : 1 steal, 6 to's
Johnson : 6 rbs, 1 assist, 4 to's
Dingus : 3 rbs, 1 steal, 3 to's
K. Billiter : 1 assist, 1 deflection
Allen Central finished with 24 rebounds - only 4 of those being offensive. Johnson Central just pushed them around.
AC plays Powell County @ Powell County on Saturday. I'm not sure about JC.

Yep, AC almost had 'em. I'm really looking for them to explode come tourney time. I can honestly see them winning the 58th District.

I was at the game tonight and whlie the the game was going on I was thinking just that. Because AC looks like they have improved over the last few weeks. However, Prestonsburg is still the team to beat!

Once it is tourny time anything can happen. Has before and it will again that's why you got to love the game.

Either Allen Central is a lot better than people have thought
OR
Johnson Central overlooked Allen Central. JCHS has a huge district game at Paintsville tonight. It's human nature to overlook teams when a big game is coming up.

I think that JCHS over looked them...

I think Allen Central has improved since the last time I watched them play. They still need to work on a few things, but they've gotten a lot better.
