CHICAGO -- The Chicago Cubs removed the interim tag from Mike Quade and named him the manager with a two-year deal and a club option for 2013, the team announced Tuesday

Quade, did a good job being the interim manager when Sweet Lou retired so this could be alright for the Cubbies but they haven't won the World Series in over 100 years, I thought for sure they'd go out and get a big time name.

I would agree with you, but the Big time names have not worked for them. I am shocked though that they did not offer Sandberg the position.
