for all the Lewis co. fans that really believe that verity was scared to attend this shoot out because lewis was going to be there.talk to your coach and have him get in contact with verity's coach and lets get this thing scheduled. just think u only beat are 7th grade by 15 and felt good about pressing them, however if that is the style you want to play i encourage you to press the 8th grade. however i think the two teams have already play during summer ball river city swish vs future stars, swish was basically verity middle school and future stars was basically lewis co middle school, maybe a few different players on each. however i feel verity team is better than the swish team that won by 25 to 30, with the addition of one of their players that play for the wv panthers that beat the future stars team two years ago in maysville super regional 60 something to like 12 with plenty of bench rotation. but besides all that lets get this game schedule and let it be settled on the court instead of me talking about it on here and your parents talking about it in the stands to verity's 7th grade parents. other than this hope that you'll continue to have a great season. another reason to get rid of small school and large school in the ovc, they all play against each other in high school.

I can tell you that I have no ties to either school but I have watched my fair share of Girls middle school basketball in the last 3 years. Lewis County wants no part of Verity....You take the big girl only off Lewis Co. and they are average at best...as she goes the team goes....Verity has several answers for the big girl.

Gets a little old with Verity getting on here to tute their horn BUT they can flat out play and thats what this forum is about in expressing your opinion.

verity is a nice club and can play .. watched them play in the Pride of the MOuntains in which they won.. martin county gave them a run for their money.. was only down around 8 gonna into 4 qu ..giving way to several cruical turnovers .and verity connected off them then bang bang bang and it was over...

thanks about the compliments towards r girls, we r very proud of them just like other schools r proud of their girls. but that was not the reason of my post to brag on them but to try to get a game between us and lewis, after the way some of the lewis county fans made certain comments to r 7th grade parents. it seemed a little disrespectful. knowing that lewis was going to be a good team coming into this season since they went undefeated as 7th graders they could have ask to play in the large school division, but instead insisted that we were scared to play them. however thanks again for your support and maybe this game will happen sooner than later.
