The pirate jv team rolled over sheldon clark last night for their third straight win, they have yet to be scored on. A team that is fun to watch. Front line dominating in every way, the backfield is all freshman led by#6 with #18 pounding the middle, and i mean pounding, #s7,9and 28hitting the edge with lightning fast speed. Looks like bright future at bhs

Are there juniors on this squad or only freshman and sophomores?

JV success doesn't necessarily translate into varsity success.

What # was the QB for SC

There are no juniors on the JV squad.... I'm taking a wild stab here but I'd say #12 is the possible QB... Very talented group of young men!

Considering Payton Mullins, Tony Messer, and Josh Robinson are all starting sophomores right now... the future looks really good.
Plus Preston Dotson and James May are also seeing alot of time, Trenity Carr and Sani Warren too.

belfry has the best freshman squad and jv squad i have seen in a while. but i don,t see these guys hanging around together 3 mor years. some but not all. and the belfry middle school 8th grade is nothing like it has been in recent years.and with bell co. joining next year. the road can get very rough.

The road can get very rough.not all who play as frosh play all four years and there are always a couple everybody ahd high hopes for that quits or leave. {gradeschool cowboys} is what coach roddy use to call them. I have to say that mullins, messer, robinson, j may and p. Dotson all soph. Who have started for bhs this year plus a handfull more and the frosh sani, carr, may. I would bet a months pay they are all here for four years. I have said before tuffy, dotson and may will be the core of the best o-line bhs has ever fielded bar none. Not all who are great in gradeschool pan out in high school, and some who never played in gradeschool turn out to be steller players. #10 for bhs this year watched every game from the sideline at bms, but now because of his ahrd work and good coachin, he is the most exciting player to watch. Zach thompson the frosh is probably the smartest and strongest of the frosh, i look for big thing from him and several others. As far as bell i welcome the challange, i would say some state championships will be decided at either belfry or bell county fields. Like them cowboys say if there is a bull they say cant be rode thats the one i want to ride. Ihope they all stay

#71 sure is a monster of a man for a frosh! Hope they can whip him into a player.

johnson central frosh is a good group of ball players, #5 and a couple other kids could really be special. but for the parents who threw racial slurs at these 13 & 14 year old kids, got kicked out of the game, tried to pick a fight with another kid on the varsity, then went and got a gun out of their truck, you should seek help somewhere.

irateSho i seen this happen at a elementry practice once.just crazy

our freashman group is great ,,our line blocked good all night the backs just wasnt runnin hard an we had #9 justin johnson out an our ture qb dont play an the lineman was great #38 ,which i think is casey lesters lil bro ,zack lester ..casey was a 2 year offenseve tackle starter but he couldnt play this year due to the age reasons..an #25 ,#78 an #55 are all of which are gonna be a tough line down the road..keep ur eye on these kids around the middle of the season ..they play johnson c an again ..looking to be another battle.

JC took control up front after halftime the o line was not putting out 100%.
the Johnson kid was out and #12 done a good job at qb.#12 and #7 had the
most yards for Belfry.Timmy May could not run up the gut because the
blocking was not there.Far as Belfry,s D. they **** tougth til the 4th q.
Belfry had to many unsportman like and offsides flags.(around 80 yards)
its hard to over that facing JC. Kevin has a little more work to do,he will
get there.( GOODLUCK GUYS)!

Not really the same JV team without Sani Warren and Justin Johnson. Rematch should be fun.

i thought it was a freshman game too i hope that wasn,t there jv.

Who have they played, and what does their record look like?

they couldnt run with timmy may cause he went to the wrong side almost every play when he ran it .. the holes for him to run was there he just didnt take it,,as i said they are gettin better every week an the line is gettin better an becoming more physical ..there only had 2 starters missin ..barnes an johnson thats all the rest that played besides one person starts ...

You need to get a film off cc and learn alittle before you run down your teammates. The freshman line has a lot of work to do, the same backs run wild in jv when tuffy dotson jude and may are blocking, wake up
