No surprises here IMO.

Congrats Bulldogs!

Looks like the usuals of P-burg, LCC, Belfry, etc. may be fighting off the graduation bug. Hopefully all of these teams can turn it around before playoff time rolls around.
#5
Way to go Bulldogs!
#6
I love seein small schools win games like this
#7
Congrats dawgs
#8
Hazard dominated this game from the start and never let up. LCC couldnt stop hazards offense and when they did they shot themselves in the foot with penalties.
#9
Sounds like the Dawgs got a shot at state this year, after knocking off a tough 4a team. Assuming LCC is as tough as they've been in the past.

Congratulations Bulldogs! Great win over a perennial 5A contender, LCC. The dogs were firing on all cylinders and had too many great plays to mention! The lateral between John Olinger and Austin Johnson was spectacular and Jon Combs was unbelievable with 356 yards passing, five touchdowns plus 12 carries for 115 yards! Keep up the good work, Bulldogs, and the best to LCC for the rest of their season.

Go Dawgs!!

I know that the Bulldogs played Leslie and beat them pretty easy and than a LCC team which doesnt seem to be as good as the past but heard that got hit hard by graudation. I feel like this Hazard team has a ever good shot at the Class A title this season by the way they've played the first two games.I'd love to see a title in the Mts.

Congratulations to the Bulldogs. Their defense has to improve for them to compete for a state title. Their offense is really good or LCC's defense is really bad. Probably a lot of both. Letcher Centrals girls soccer team has score more points then the football team has this year. If LCC doesn't improve quickly they may be looking at a possible 2-8 record.

Hazards lack of depth will hurt them because id say most are playing both ways.

Looks like my prediction was to far off Wink

Either Hazard is really good or LCC has started to gradually regress. I heard that this was suppose to be one of the best teams In LCC's short history but its not looking that way.

You can bring in high dollar coaches, take care of your family members, build a million dollar facility without restrooms however and it still comes down to the old statement.

It's not about the X's and O's its about the Jimmy and Joes. Looks like LCC needs to up their recruiting budget. I don't think they brought the right personnel in this year.

Good Job Dawgs !!!!

The Dawgs are awesome. If they keep it up they should be a contender for 1A title. Hazard defense is not that bad, but needs to get a little better. LCC has a really good offense. One of LCC problems this year is graduation plus several key underclassmen did not return this year. Especially in the defensive back field and possible receiving crew. However the current recievers and d- backfield are good, but it would definetly help having more quality athletes to use in there.

This is true, according to one of there coaches they are one injury away form a bad season. Meaning they aren't deep at all.

Easy now skeeter LOL! LCC is playing like crap. One week its the offense, next its the defense. I would have bet my horse that this score wen't the other way. I am slowly learning who's reports to trust and which ones are blown completley out of proportion.:thatsfunn

The Olinger kid is a Soph. correct? He looked to have excellent size/speed/skills. Looked like a D-1 quality player IMO.

Congratulations Bulldogs. Huge early season win. Now let's work on extra point kicks and 2 point conversions. In a close game it can be the difference between winning and going home in the playoffs. Great night for their senior quarterback John Combs with a lot of good plays from a lot of others too.

Girls basketball needs that budget so they can compete with Randy Napier and his travelin all-stars.

No but their parents seem to find a job in a county with 10-15% unemployment rates.

Most Class A schools have players that play both ways !!
