Hazard won the 14th Region All A Volleyball tournament on Saturday, August 28 over Owsley County 2-1. The game was played at Buckhorn. Hazard advances to the State Tournament in Richmond next month. CONGRATS GIRLS!!!

Congrats to the Hazard girls on making the All A Classic. Will be seeing you that Saturday morning as you'll be in the pool with my girls playing for Whitefield. They won the 7th Region on Saturday.

This is the one tournament of the year that I really look forward to. It's great to have a tourney where the smaller schools get a chance to compete on a state-wide level. Unfortunately, we're sitting in the 7th and did make it to the regional semis, but you have to get past the two big dogs-Sacred Heart and Assumption to get to the Sweet Sixteen--tough to do.

Again, congratulations to the Hazard girls and good
luck to them---except, of course, when they play my girls.
