How long does your season run? Do you usually play AAU or tournaments after your season?

I am the coach at The Lexington School in Lexington, KY. We compete in a parochial league but are looking to form a travelling team to compete after our parochial league ends.

We could possible be ready by end of March or first of April. I know this is late and it could cause us to change some things but my main question is this:

Are there tournaments during the spring/summer? Have you attended any of them? Any recommendations for ones that you liked and didn't like? Is there a website where I can see tournaments that might be coming up? Anyone know anything about the Kentucky Middle School State Championship? Is it this occurring? How can you get in? When are the dates?

Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Check out ACAhoops.com, you can search tournaments there. Also, look on the Knott County Sportsplex site for games there. You can also check the KBA site for info on the Middle School State Tournament.
