I thought Fairview was better, guess West played really good. Who stood out for the Eagles?

About as I expected.. Although I look for Fairview to get better as the season progresses. Raceland at Fairview should be a battle!

Weak/Strong points for Fairview? I look for russellpride to set me straight. He has all the Fairview knowledge down to the meals ate before the game! Maybe he should change his name to EaglePride!

C.J. Leadingham's 27-yard field goal in overtime won it for visiting Fairview (1-0) after it blew a 13-0 halftime lead. Fairview's Chris Brewer rushed 20 times for 149 yards and a score, and he also had a 27-yard interception return for a touchdown.

West Carter (0-1) tied it 13-13 in the fourth quarter on Harrison Bond's 97-yard TD run, but the extra-point attempt was blocked, sending the game to overtime. Bond rushed for 138 yards on 13 carries.
