Two teams were pretty evenly matched in 90 minute half-field scrimmage. North ran one in, missed PAT. Tilghman was crisp defensively but the offense was lackluster. Looked like Tilghman reverted to the iffy arm band play calling system from two years ago. Sam Cox struggled as a drop back passer. Backup QB/DB JD Harmon fought with teammate RB/DB Rashad Brown. Both left the game. That kind of night.

Fight is what others told me. Reguardless, that cant go on. 2nd hand story I got was that PT defense looked pretty good but offense was a train wreck which is same story Tica was telling

Brown tossed his shoulder pads and left the sideline for the field house. Someone got him to return to the team. Harmon took his pads off too and sulked by himself. Maybe this a team that needs turmoil to win. Harmon has taken reps at QB but is no Kris Jackson. Considering that defensive leader LB/FB Justin Williams did not dress, the D did all that was asked of them. Williams wore a cast for a minor wrist fracture received in practice. He is able to go, but was kept out as a precaution.
PT has to settle on an offense and personnel which moves the ball consistently, whatever and whomever that may be.

sounds like Madisonville going to have trouble scoring again this year, but sounds like De fense will be tuff again

From what I heard and saw on the video replay against Lone Oak and Murray, Hoptown was the stronger of three strong teams. PT will get to unveil a ground game this week it chose not to deploy in the scrimmage. North Hopkins moved the ball better against Graves Co., but that was after 90 minutes with PT.

looks like tilghman is going to have a rough start...but will most likely pull it together unless both of those players quit..etc
