Why didn't Boyd scrimmage with Powell. Both teams looked to have vast improvement on both sides of the ball in comparison to last years teams.

Bobcats looked a little scrappy and I saw some hard licks. During their play with Boyd Co., I saw several cheap shots by both teams and tons of penalties. Looked like they were both going pretty hard at one another. Should be a good indication of how competetive they will be during the regular season.

the refs were having training last night, that is reason for 12 of them on field. they called almost everything. but overall real good games all night. Hope the RB from Allen Central and Twin Valley are OK....left games with injuries
