Probably thinking of someone else.
Jackson is heading to James Madison, Euton to Akron, and Flannery to I believe either a D2 or NAIA school in Ohio.

No kids from Holmes either.
Ricardo Johnson- Ohio U
Jeremiah Johnson- Campbellsville U
Elijah Pittman- Chipola College (JUCO)
Maybe you're thinking of Demarko Foster of Newport. I know he's likely taking the prep school route.

How does prep school work is it just like another year of high school?

Pretty much, it gives the students an additional year to prepare for college. Prep schools usually play other prep schools, most states with a High School Athletic Association will not allow any of their schools play a non-HSAA team.
Some kids go there to develop their game another year, improve their academics or get additional exposure playing on a traveling top level pre-college level team.

Ge'lawn Guyn has not been 100 percent this season with very bad tendinitis in both knees. He was told to rest his knees for six week before his start rehab. Ge'lawn is going prep to get stronger and work on his point guard skills that he will need for the next level. People may think that grades are a problem for him, but is has a 3.0 GPA. Brewster Academy in New Hampshire is one of the top school in the nation. The Tuition is around $50,000 a year. They won the Prep School National Championship and the State Championship. Read the story about this reasons. I think he made a mature decision. Good Luck Ge'lawn

Ge'lawn just told me last night that he was going to Oak Hill Academy next year and then to UK, and to the NBA after that.
