Nelson County's Samantha Drake Signs with Kentucky

The University of Kentucky just made it public that Nelson County's 6'3 center has signed her LOI to play for UK.

Her signing makes this UK's highest ever ranked recruiting class @ #5.

I enjoy their style of play and they needed some size. Hard to match up with UT without a big girl.

They bring back the SEC POY, SEC Freshman of the year, SEC coach of the year, 4 of 5 starters from an elite eight team.

Incoming freshman are a Mcdonals all american, whos is in the espn 100, also they bring in 3 more espnU top 100 players. Also is to this list KY Miss Basketball.

I just hope the girls will use this as a stepping stone in getting UK on the map, and into the final four.
