St. John's has hired ESPN analyst and former UCLA coach Steve Lavin to succeed Norm Roberts, a school spokesman said Tuesday.

Why even bother to fire the old guy if Lavin is the best coach you can come up with to replace him?

cany believe he went there, dont have the hollywood theme he is used to, but if i was him i would want to get away from that mess to..

Anything would be better than what they have been. Located in New York and a member of a major conference. The right coach could really make it work. Is Lavin the guy? Only time will tell.
