It is rumored that Cory Shouse is in the process of transfering to Pike Central. Cory will be a soph this upcoming year and he started at LB for Breathitt last year. In my opinion Cory would have been the best defensive player on Breathitt's team this upcoming year. It looks like John Paul has stole one from Holcomb. Holcomb has lost his best assistant coach along with his best defensive player so far and there could possibly be more players on their way out of the bobcat program. Good luck Cory.

Sounds like PC thinks they can get with anything recruiting isn't allowed
so if that is what is happening Holcomb is getting screwed along with all
Pike County high school football teams sounds like the Kentucky High School

I am a huge Belfry supporter and with the Pike County/West Virginia border close to Belfry, that perception is always going to be there. Actually, there are very few kids that play for Belfry who live in the Mountain State. However, it is not good to accuse people of recruting without all of the facts. BTW, I know for fact of two possible additions to the Pirate roster for this fall. The names will come out in due time.

I am a huge Belfry supporter and with the Pike County/West Virginia border close to Belfry, that perception is always going to be there. Actually, there are very few kids that play for Belfry who live in the Mountain State. However, it is not good to accuse people of recruting without all of the facts. BTW, I know for fact of two possible additions to the Pirate roster for this fall. The names will come out in due time.

Pike Central has got the shouse kid from Breathitt and the boggs kid from Perry Central who will be the next Qb. Sounds like pike is on the move to building a football team.

Brayton leaving will be a huge loss for the Bobcats. I have heard a few other players might leave also, if they do Breathitt is going to have a tough time next season.

They need to recruit some speedy wide recievers and a top notch QB and some pass blocking guards then they can get back to that pass offense. Until they do that they are stuck with the run game and another winning season.
