Well, the Regional Championships have all been settled now and the teams participating in the Sweet 16 @Rupp are set. Now, how do you rank the remaining 16 teams? All have shown to be great basketball teams over the year as it has culminated in a regional championship for each team in their respective Regions. Feel free to discuss and post your own rankings for each of the teams.

dude, im not saying their bad, I Just dont think they should be rank higher then #5. Why put them in front of SV,Christian Co and Warren Central? What have they proved, to be rank higher then them?

yea they beat holmes, but also lost twice to them during the regular season, so there very fortunate to being heading to Rupp, but thats why they play the game cause upsets are to happen. They belong in the 5th or 6th spot IMO

Oh, by the way, Shelby Valley won that tournament to enlighten any 'uneducated' follow up comments by some! Newport is a solid team, but to say there gonna contend for the State Championship, c'mon now, They've got Ballard, Scott Co and would still have to get out of the 1st round with Christian Co, which I dont see happining. They captalized on Holmes poorly played game, and thats the only reason why they are heading to Rupp instead of Holmes.

Knott County Central has proven alot more than Corbin and should be ranked ahead of them. Corbin is over rated. Other than that this list looks pretty accurate.

Yes valley did have a team over the summer but they did not play Newport....

Newport shot terrible against DeSales. Foster and Sizemore combined for 0-11 from the field and the first too games against Holmes Newport shot terrible
They shot, i believe 20% the first game and 32% the second game. And they also missed 13 free throws the first game. Newport was down by 2 with a 1:30 left the second game also.

I wouldn't consider Holmes the better team out of 10 games I say Newport would win 6 or they split.

I want Newport to make some noise and prove some people wrong:rockon:

Yes valley did have a team over the summer but they did not play Newport....

No but Newport's McDaniel and Collins team beat EJ's DSA by 15 in the state tourny.

Newport isn't high enough they are a top 5 team easy. Shelby Valley shouldn't be top 5. Warren, Mason, West Jess are all better than valley.
