I just finished working out and I am exhausted! I got online a little earlier and looked up different exercises for me to start doing everyday. I made a detailed list of the exercise and how to do it and then a list of how many reps I was to do of each and finally a chart to mark off when I got a particular exercise done so I could keep up with it.
My list contains:
Reverse Crunches
Leg Raises
Leg Extensions
Side Crunches
Standard Crunches
Lunges
Plie Squats
Push Ups
Resistance Bands for my legs, arms/chest
It's not anything hard just some little things to help get me back in shape and get toned since I've been laying around doing nothing for the last three months. Which brings me to the point of starting this thread...does anyone else do little daily exercises like this other than 'having' to do them because of sports and if so what do you do? If it's anything different than what I'm currently doing please explain how to do it and I will probably try it out...lol...

I have a playlist of songs that I run on my computer and I start working out.
I do as many crunches and variations of crunches from the time the first song starts until it finishes, it is over 5 minutes long.
I do as many curls with my right arm as I can during the time that the second song plays.
Then I do curls with my left hand while the third song plays...
Things like that.
Add in some pushups, more crunches, some other arm workouts, stuff like that.
The whole workout is supposed to last around 2 hours but I usually get bored and end it around 45 minutes lol
I will eventually work out longer as the amount of time that I have been doing it progresses.
I REALLY want to tone my arms and abs.

My right arm was really sore this morning but I used some Biofreeze, which is a prescription strength version of IcyHot. It works miracles.

My big ole butt needs to get up and work out. I have a treadmill in there that I should use for like 24 hours straight haha to get rid of some of this faaatttttt!

I would give anything to have a Bowflex or something like that... I LOVE LOVE LOVE working out on stuff like that. Next year if I get into EKU I'll probably be in the gym 24 hours a day working out!

If you want to spend just $5 and get something that will not only abuse your abs but also tone your upper body, get an Ab Roller. Don't laugh, because I laughed until I got one. If you can get to the point where you are doing 5 sets of 25, then you are doing pretty good. BTW, those are sets where your arms are staight and your upper body is parellel to the floor.
You can mix it up by going all the way out and holding for 10 seconds and really burning.
BTW, even if you have been doing all kinds of ab work, you will be sore the first few times you use the Ab Roller. Remember, abs are muscles and they need rest just like other muscles. Don't train abs every day.
My workouts are on the Total Gym. I work the chest, shoulders, and triceps on Monday and Thursday, the back and biceps on Tuesday and Friday, and the legs and abs on Wednesday and Sa****ay. The Total Gym is not real good for the legs so I also incorporate free weights in my workout.

I liked the Ab Roller pretty good but for $50 I sprung for 6 Second Abs.
I used it a few times and really liked it but I don't have it anymore.
The Ab Lounge is pretty sweet as well.
For $5, the Ab Roller is a cheap and effective way to tighten abs though, I would go with it.
