It was a dandy! This was an exciting game. Close until halftime. Then Hazard built up a 5 or 6 point lead in 3rd quarter. In 4th Breathitt was ahead about 5 points and Hazard wins at end as Whitaker scores the last 4 points of the game-all on free throws.
For the Bulldogs-Josh Whitaker led all scorers with 27 and Jordan Olinger had 20.
For the Bobcats-Ritchie had 20.I think he made two 3 point shots and Hays made 4. Noble had 10 points.

Very good game but I thought breathitt should have pulled it out. Good showing for breathitt. I think they are about 5 teams who are right in the mix of things.

Good game by both teams. When you have a game that goes back and forth and is close the entire 4 quarters, it's a shame someone has to lose, especially by one point.

The game was at Hazard.As mentioned Whitaker had 27 and Olinger 20.From there it fell off to like 8,7,5 and 4.I think Fugate had 5.B.J.Combs,Back and John Combs were the other 3 scorers but not sure on order.
.For Breathitt -Rtichie had 20 and I believe Noble had 10.I know Hays had 4 three point shots but not sure of total points.Hard to hear announced scoring with people talking after game and linescore not listed.Rithcie had 2 threes.
..Back made a three at buzzer before halftime to give Hazard the lead.Hazard built a 5 or 6 point lead in 3rd that vanished.In 4th Breathitt took a 4-5 point lead.Hazard scored a couple baskets quickly and game see sawed.Hazard was behind with only few seconds left and inbounded ball.Whitaker drove in lane and was fouled and made 2 free throws to win the game.Not enough time left for Breathitt to get off a decent shot.

This was a very exciting game but I wish the Bobcats would have pulled it out!!! Jordan was a big factor for the dogs...I have watched him grow up in the basketball realm and he impressed me last night...He's a really good kid and comes from a good family!! Hopefully the Bobcats will pick up the pieces and be ready to beat Powell Friday night and Jackson City on Tuesday!!!! Go Bobcats

I know that they have had a rough year but they played an excellent game against one of the regions best teams. I would say that is finding a rhythm at the right time of the year. Even with a 5 game losing streak the team can still learn from them and play better in big time games. Hopefully they carry it into the district.
