After tonight's girls game with Leslie Co. in which the Lady Pats came out victorious, Knott County Central's Boy and Girls Basketball teams ended the season UNDEFEATED at Home in regular season game-play (no tournaments) for the 2009-2010 season.
Congrats Patriots on your milestone this season! This is one of the few times in KCC's history that this has occurred on both sides of the spectrum.
Good Luck in District/Regional play Patriots! Make us proud!
Go PATS & Lady PATS!

The boys played 10 home games, non tournament games, against teams with a combined record of 114-110

Perry was undefeated at home last year, IDK how the girls team faired at home.
To me, the SV game counts as a home game. Officially on a neutral floor, but it's on your home floor, and it's a loss.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about the regular schedule..I know SV wasn't scheduled, They just met in the finals of WYMT..But yeah that a home lose if you look at it like that.

It's easy for people to be against Knott, look at some of the crazy **** you people say about them.

Tournaments are not counted in regular season scheduled play. Read the original post it says no tournaments plain and clear.
And btw interesting fact, Knott was the AWAY team in that game hahaha, thats pretty funny.

People get mad at us because we say our team is good and we are proud of them? I'm even standing up for PCC in this one. They say some good things about their team too, we don't get mad at them over that, just we don't see eye to eye on everything. We will always fight over whose team is better, but not the fact that they are both good. Many teams do that. I guess everyone is against the good teams huh?
At least our teams can back up the (quote) "****" (end quote) we talk.

You guys were the away team so you woundn't "officially" have a home loss this year

You people go way past being proud of them. The things said on here about Knott really amaze me at times, I have to go back and read some things twice just to make sure I read it correctly the first time. I just love the fact that a couple of years ago grade school basketball was a lot bigger than KCC basketball, but once they win 20 games they are the greatest team in the mountains, blah blah blah blah. Once you guys win a region championship you can talk all the **** you want. But I don't see that happening anytime soon.
Your team, and fans, do talk a lot of that ****. Lets see how you back it up come tournament time big guy

So losses in tournaments dont count as losses? Sounds like a winner to all coaches.

The Valley loss may have been on their home court but it wasn't a scheduled game, it was a tourney game, they were also the away team. therefore they do not count it as a loss. If it had been scheduled they would have counted it.

The KHSAA's websit has the SV game listed as a home game, so I don't think you went undefeated at home. Just because it's a tourney, doesn't mean it's not a regular season game. It just means all the games in the tourney counts as 1 regular season game against game limit. I don't think KCC or PCC has any room to talk too much since neither has won a post-season tourney in a while. KCC hasn't been able to even win district with it being played on their home floor the last couple of years. PCC hasn't won anything since Big Al was run off.

Last time Perry won region was 04-05 season and for Knott it was '93. Perry's been in the finals a few times but just hasn't been able to get over the hump. I think they will this year.

I remember Mason County having a nice home winning straek in the 90's and Oak Hill Academy came to town... they called it an "exhibition" so the streak would go on.
