Ashland vs. George Rogers Clark 1/29
#1
16th region against the 10th region at GRC on Friday. Who wins this one?
#2
In spite of their record, Ashland really isn't playing all that well. I'd say GRC is the better team, if they are both playing well. You never know until they tip it up, but if I were a betting man, I'd have to take GRC.

In the Lexington paper today they have GRC ranked 3rd in the state I have been told. Believe GRC's height and talent will be too much for the Tomcats. Cards win by 10+. Hope they don't overlook Ashland Friday night, for the big matchup with Scott Co on Saturday

I'll take GRC by 15.

In the Mason Co. game I thought Ashland looked a 'little'? out of sync in the first half and impatient in the second half with just about everything going wrong that could go wrong, as it seems it often does when the wheels come off like that. I see the Cov Cath game as a fairly good indication of how they Can play when things are right against a team with size. This game will tell us a lot about where the Cats are right now as far as maturity goes.

Good point, gapman. I think that GRC's big men are better than what we saw against Cov Cath, but we are also going to see better guard play as well.

I don't know if GRC is really the third best team in the state, but I know that they will be well coached (Humphrey), and they will know what our game looks like.

Tough game coming up this Friday night. We need to shoot much better than we have been, and we'll need all of the effort we can muster.

Skaggs and Daniels played AAU ball together this past summer. I know they are looking forward to playing each other, great friends.

GRC at home will be too much. GRC 78-66

Home court does make a difference.

Rooting for you Ashland!

GRC's size and overall talent should be too much for the Cats. I just don't see them being able to compete with the Cards front court of Purvis, Rogers, and Zollo.

Clark Co by 10+.
