Good region win for Ashland at home. This week could be difficult with road games at East Carter, Clark County, and Fairview. However, Fairview plays Thursday in the All A and, if they win, could be playing Friday and possibly Saturday. If so that game will need to be rescheduled.

If Fairview loses in the first round (Owensboro Catholic) or in the second round (LCA or UHA), it will be unrealistic to expect them to perform well against Ashland on Saturday. The excitement of playing at Richmond, even with the letdown of a first round loss on Thursday, will severely lessen the chances of beating Ashland. In any case, it was a poor scheduling move on the part of Fairview since this is an important district game.

Under the circumstances, look for Ashland to go 2-1 this week although 1-2 is possible. Overall, good challenges for Ashland this week.

Good observations, Truth.

Kind of odd, but Ashland has the possibility to go 0-3, or if they play well, 3-0. No doubt about one thing - they will have to start hitting free throws if they expect to survive in tournament play.

This game got a little rough, but I thought it was fun to watch despite the big margin of victory. A lot of people were wiping their mouth checking for blood. Ashland's depth advantage really made a difference in this one as Bath had probably their most physical player (Ravenscraft) pick up his 4th personal pretty early in the last period & had to come out. Solid performance for the Cats against an opponent with a lot of fire.
