Former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville will be named the next football coach at Texas Tech, a source close to the search told ESPN.com's Ivan Maisel.
A news conference is scheduled for Sunday. Tuberville's family is flying to Lubbock Saturday night, according to the source.

Tuberville hires Tony Franklin to run the offense. He ends up not getting along with Franklin and did not let him run the offense the way it is suppose to be run. He gets rid of Franklin. The whole thing ends up costing him his job. Now he is being hired at a school that is built to run and has been running the offense Franklin runs.
Now past being ironic to a degree can TT not see how bad an idea this is?

He says he's keeping the Leach playbook (or as Kentucky fans know it, the Mumme playbook).
