Congrats to Hazard for winning the tourney at the Knott Co. Sportsplex! They finished first in pool play yesterday defeating Robinson and South Laurel. Today they defeated Willard, Cowan and then the Lexington Spartans (64-40) to take home the trophey. Way to go Dawgs! Another great tournament!

Don't forget the 5th-6th grade team. They also won their tournament today at the Sportsplex by defeating Carr Creek in the championship game. Congratulations to both of the Hazard Middle School teams on your fine victories and keep up the good work!!

R.W. COMBS was not in this 6th grade tournament, there were 7 teams in this one(A.B. Combs, Hazard, Cowan, Paintsville, Johnson Central, Pikeville and Carr creek). Hazard beat A.B. by about 15, beat Cowan by about 25, beat Johnson Central by about 6, beat Paintsville by 2, and Carr Creek by 3.

R.w. Combs is still the best 6th grade team in the mnts, I think.
