21-12 Bruins at the end of one... Holmes is struggling with the press of Ballard, The lack of a true point gaurd may hurt them in this one. They need to break the press and get some looks inside they are much bigger than this ballard team. They also need to slow ballard on offense. This was a high scoring game last year as well, but I am sure the dogs don't want this one up in the 80's

Holmes held Ballard to 10 points in the second quarter, they will need more of that. They will also need to keep getting the ball into Pittman and rice, thos two have combined for 13 of the teams 22 points thus far.

The zone seems to be a good look for the Holmes and if they can eliminate unforce errors this game would be even closer. They mishandled the ball the first 2 possessions of the 2nd quarter with no pressure being put on.
